List of Online Retailers
Here’s a list of online retailers (the link goes to their homepage) that I will be constantly updating. I will try and make a few comments about my impressions of the site, and then if I buy any of their teas I’ll post comments on their service and the quality of their tea. For now, the raw list:
Seven Cups
My personal favorite. Very high quality tea from the several that I’ve tried. The Alishan that I had was wonderful, as was the Dan Cong and gunpowder. Great business.
Verdant Tea
Great company. I really like their videos. I haven’t tasted any of their teas, but they’re next on my list to try. They do exclusively Chinese teas.
Mellow Monk
This seems the best place for Japanse tea that I’ve found online. I haven’t tried their teas yet, but I hope to very soon. These people are actually growers and producers in Japan, and their tea has won some awards in the Japanese tea industry. Good stuff.
